march and April update

I know it been over a month since my last blog I'm a slacker so much has been going on to start off in March we went to see Dustin's family. We flow down and Sydney was so good flying we had people come up to us and say they didn't even know there was a baby on the plane she slept most of the way. We had so much fun Sydney was so spoiled between her cousins, uncles, and aunts and of course Grandma and Grandpa Evans. While we were there my wonderful photographer sister in law took family pictures they turned out so good.

April was a very big month starting off with my birthday on the 7 we didn't do too much just had a family party i did get a pedi which was really nice. My birthday feel on my the school district spring break so i got to have the hole week off and on Thur of that week Sydney and I went with my family to the coast ( Dustin had school and work so had to stay to home). Sydney did so good driving and was good the whole time and it only rained one day we were and it was the day we were heading home we were there it was a nice little break.

On the 11th we took Sydney in for her six month check up she is still small for her age but is perfectly healthy she wights 14 pounds ( 10%) and is 24 inches ( 3 to 5%) She is now into 3 to 6 months clothes. We have just started on solids and so far she loves pears green beans sweet potatoes she doesn't like rice cereal and Squash. She started to roll over from her back to her tummy a month a long and now that's all she dose and she is starting to scoot backwards and goes everywhere. She loves to talk and is laughing now she loves her lain and chick toys. she is still doing great breastfeeding. She is growing up so fast and is doing new things every day.

On the 26 it was a bittersweet day for us as my brother Evan went left on his mission to Sao Paulo Brazil. We had to be at the airport at 5 and of course Sydney slept the tole time we where there, he went straight to the MTC in Brazil. We got use to him being here in the last three months since he has been home from school he became a great babysitter for us. We are sad to see him go but we know that he is where he needs to be. We will be doing this here again soon since Dustin's bother Carter is putting his papers in.
