Thanksgiving and blessing

So Thanksgiving weekend was a big weekend for us. It first started off with Evan flying home on Sunday and than having a snow Storm which we didn't like cause it might make Dustin's family not be able to come up for Sydney's blessing. Thanksgiving was really nice we went up to my great aunts who lives in Prosser. It was Sydney's first road trip and she sleep the hole way up and the way home and most of dinner. It was so nice to see my moms family and to get stuffed on yummy food. The next day Dustin and my dad went to the black Friday sale and got some blue rays and a blue ray player for our bedroom. Also on Friday the Evan's which included Dustin's parents, sister Diana, brother Jason his wife Amy and there girls Michelle, Chloe, and Elise, his grandma Evans and his younger brothers Carter and Tyler, made their way up to us it took the a long time with the roads not being to good but we were so grateful to have them come up safely. On Saturday we played out in the snow the girls loved it. Michelle and Chloe also loved helping change and hold Sydney. On Sunday we blessed her in my parents ward which is my homeward Dustin gave her a beautiful blessing After church we Had a luncheon for our friends and family. After that it was time to say goodbye to Evan and Dustin's family expect for Diana who stay with us til Monday. That's what our weekend was like. Now a update on Sydney is growning like crazy she is growning out of her newborn outfits and is now in 0-3 she is really strong she can hold her head up all by herself for a little bit. She is always smiling and make the cutest sounds when she is trying to talk to you. since it just after Thanksgiving i want to say all the we are grateful for

* our beautiful healthy baby girl she is the love of our lives

* for our jobs

* our health

* our families they are the greatest

* our apartment even though its small

* the opportunity for Dustin to go to school and work towards his degree

One Month old

It's hard to believe that our baby is already a month old. The last month has been a month of getting the hang of things with having a baby. We had Dustin's mom here for a week which was the best. I'm so grateful to have my family here close by to have help when i need it. Sydney is a great baby we love her too death, she is doing great with Breastfeeding, she only gets up two to three times a night which is great for us cause we really haven't been sleep deprived. She is already holding her up head and is smiling she makes the cutest little sounds. She loves to be held and cuddle she loves to fall asleep on her daddy, and love to be in her swing. She has the hiccups all the time and sometimes she gets mad if they are going for a while. she is still very small she is only 25% with her height and weight and still fits into her newborn outfits the 0-3 months are still a little big. We have a big month this month her Grandpa Evans is coming up here for meetings for work and will be able to come by and see her. And the Sunday after thanksgiving she will be blessed and all of Dustin's family is coming up so we will have lots of people to hold her.

Sydney Lita Evans

Well she is finally here. Sydney was born Oct.11 at 11:03 pm weighing 6 pounds 15 oz and 19 3/4 inches. The day started out with going to the doctors for our checkup my blood pressure has been a bit high the last couple of weeks but that day it was the highest. We had a stress test done and i was having a couple contractions but nothing too painful and we had a ultrasound done and the fluid around the baby was good. So after all that my doctor told us to go over the hospital and have some blood work done to show if i was getting preeclampisa we got to the hospital at about 2 pm after about a hour my blood work showed i was border line and that i was going to be induced. I was in labor for about six hours towards 8 that night her heart rate dropped a little but went back up than about 10:30 i was dilated to 10cm and they called the doctor to come in and i was going to start pushing. just when i started pushing she went into distress and the doctor made me stop pushing and was watch her on the monitor after a while my doctor said we need to do a c-section i really didn't want to have one but it was the only way to get her out safely. She is beautiful and perfectly healthy. We came home after three days in the hospital and she is doing great she is a very good baby i couldn't not ask for a better baby. We have a lot of support here right now with my family living here and Dustin's mom who is here right now and will be here for a week it sure makes it easier for us being first time parents. Sydney has brought such joy and love into our home and so happy she is our s for eternity. We are excited to watch her grow and teach her all out the gospel.

A much need updated

So i know i haven't been keeping you updated with the baby and us. Here is what has been going on. With us six weeks to go til baby Sydney is here we have been getting everything ready for her arrival. We order our crib and changing table and it took Dustin a two hours to put everything up. Next we order here bedding which should be coming any day now. Everything like clothes we have so far is washed and put away. We just finished our three week birthing classes which were really nice to learn about all the things we didn't know about after she is here. At our last ultrasound she is weighing in about 4 pounds and is as stubborned as ever we tired to get some 3D pictures but of course she was facing the opposite way, the tech said that she must want to surprise us with how beautiful she is. We can believe that we are down to a month and half left we are so excited for her to be here and be a part of our family. In whats happening with us we have a good July and August. The weekend of the 4Th of July my aunt and uncle came up from California to spend the weekend with us we got to go on a boat trip up the Columbia to Hanford it was really fun and great to learn more history about the area than i already knew. The end of July we headed to Idaho to drop off my brother at school it was a sad leaving him there but he is doing great in school. As for August Dustin got a three week break but still had to work so not much of a break, we did get to house sit for my parents as the went on a Cruise so it was like a mini vacation for us. Thats about all that has been happening.

update on us and the baby

So the month of June was a very busy month for us. First off both Dustin's brother Carter and my brother Evan graduated from high school the same weekend so Dustin went down to Lemoore to be with his brother while i stayed at home for my brothers. Also we celebrated our 2 year anniversary on June 6, we didn't celebrate that day since it was Sunday and the day Dustin flew home so we went out to dinner to Casa Mia the next weekend. I cant believe that it has been two years, it sometimes feels like we were just married. It has been a wonderful two years full of up and downs but lots of love and laughter. This anniversary was surreal to us knowing it will be our last one with just the two of us. Speaking of our baby girl we have been getting clothes and things here and there for her which is so much fun, a couple of the cutest things thing we have gotten so far was a car seat canopy that one of our friends made for us, also one of my cousins wife made us a packers blanket ( Dustin's favorite football team) that we will really use when football season comes. With getting all these things we are so excited for this little girl to get here. Also we have decided on a name Sydney Elaine Evans. That's about all that is happening in the Evans household we will be posting a very cute picture of Sydney sucking her thumb in her last ultrasound as soon as we get it scanned in. And some pictures of the baby bump and of our 4 of July weekend with my aunt and uncle who are coming up for the weekend from California.

13 week ultrasound

So when went to our 13 week ultrasound and everything looks good with the baby. W couldn't believe how much the baby has grown. What was really cool is the baby was moving it hands like it was waving at us it was so cute. We couldn't get a picture cause the baby was being stubborned ( which he or she gets from Dustin lol) and every time we trying to get a picture the baby's hands would be in its face than the baby turned over and would move. So no picture for us my next ultrasound is in six weeks and we find out if we are having a boy or girl we are praying that the baby will lets us see.

Update

So i know i haven't update in a while things here have been the same we are both working hard. Dustin is getting straight A's at school. We love our new place it is smaller than our last one but is so much bright and roomer and we don't have problems with the landlord. On march 2 we said good bye to my brother Evan's best friend leave on his mission to Brazil who is like a brother to me, it was hard to see him leave but he will be a great missionary. it was a sneak peak at what we will be doing next when we have to say good bye to both my brother (Evan) and Dustin's brother (Carter). Dustin's spring break is next week and we aren't going to go anywhere since we both have to work i do have a spring break from working with the school district but of course it isn't the same time as Dustin's my family is planing to go to California and i was thinking about going but i don't think i could leave Dustin for a hole week.
