goodbye 2011 hello 2012

2011 was a great year for us. We didn't have any big things happen expect for Sydney turning one but it was a fun year full of fun times. We look back at what happened this year with it starting out with Kaitlin getting a permanent job with the school district, going to the coast for a family vacation for spring break, having Evan leave on a mission and see him come home honorably, went to Utah for a family reunion on the Evans side in July, celebrated our baby girl's first birthday, went down to California to visit family and saw Carter leave for his mission to Perth Australia. we cant wait to see what 2012 has for us! oh and about Christmas 2011 we stayed home this Christmas the plane tickets were so expensive this year and we didn't want to take the chance driving so we had Christmas here we really missed seeing Dustin's family but we will be down there next year for sure. We started Christmas eve our usual going to my great aunt Rita's and afterwords open present with my aunt and unlaces family. And Christmas morning to our surprise we sleep in even Sydney lol. Sydney got lots of stuff including two presents for Santa she wasn't to instead in the clothes she got just wanted the toys, the wrapping paper, and bows. Christmas night we had friends and family over for games and food. it was a very nice and fun Christmas. Hope everyone had a great Christmas and a great new year.

Here are pictures of Halloween i know a little late lol. It was Sydney's first time trick or treating she had fun we went to a trick or treat they had in downtown Kennewick than after that we took around a couple of houses over by my parents house.

The week before Halloween we went to the pumpkin patch with Chantell and her little girl Brooklyn the girls where so cute riding in the wagon her to get the pumpkins and see the animals there too.

Sydney first birthday

I know im have not been updating as much as i should be it has been hard to get a chance to sit down and blog with a now 1 year old crawling around. Sydney turned 1 on Oct 11. we cant believe it has been a year. Sydney has been such a blessing in our lives we cant image our lives without her. She is still on the Small end of course she was 18lbs and 2 oz at her year check up and 28inches long. She loves anything fruit and veggies her favorite is bananas. she has 7 teeth and is still not walking yet but crawling everywhere she can now high five and clap and do touch down. so here are some pictures of her birthday.

Summer update

So i know i have been a slacker this summer with my blog so I'm finally sitting down and updating it the month of June not too much happened. Dustin had the summer off from summer which was really nice and of course i was off work. Sydney did swimming lesson over the summer every Friday morning at first she wasn't too sure of the water but when she was done she was water bug.

We Went to are only trip over the summer to Utah where we had a Evans family Reunion over the four of July we got to stay with Dustin's aunt and her family in their brand new house along with Dustin's parents brothers and his brother and his family. it was so much fun to see everybody Sydney had many cousin to play with while we were there we went down to Provo to see Dustin mission president who is now in the MTC presidency. We got to have lunch at the MTC with him and his wife it was really fun and cool to be there we eat with the missionaries which was really fun.

On July 27 My brother Evan was honorably realsed for medical reasons form his mission he is at home and doing good and getting better we are
enjoying him being home again> Sydney went in for her 9 month check up and you guess it she is still small she was 15 lbs 12 oz (5%) and 25 inches long (3&) she is healthy so that's all that matters August was a fun month but just hang out at home we did get to go to the fair the last week in Aug we walk around and saw all the animals and watch our cousin show her pig.

on the 22 Dustin started school again and that week Sydney finally did it she crawled and now that she is she is everywhere so now we are baby proofing lol she is also standing up on things so it wont be too much longer she will be walking. she can mama and is getting cutter every day that is about all that happen this summer not too much but we enjoyed it.
